Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of StatusPilot ("Service"), operated by LSN Lab ("we", "us", "our"). By creating an account or using the Service you agree to these Terms.

1. The Service

StatusPilot is an uptime monitoring and public status page platform. We provide HTTP/HTTPS monitoring, incident management, email alerts, and subscriber-facing status pages.

2. Accounts

You must provide accurate information when creating an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials and for all activity under your account. You must notify us immediately of any unauthorised use at statuspilot@lsnlab.com.

3. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Monitor URLs you do not own or are not authorised to monitor.
  • Use the Service to conduct denial-of-service attacks or to circumvent rate limits.
  • Resell, sublicense, or redistribute the Service without our prior written consent.
  • Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or extract source code from the Service.
  • Upload or transmit malware, spam, or any unlawful content.

4. Subscription & Payment

Paid plans are billed monthly or annually in advance. All fees are non-refundable except where required by law. We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days' notice. If payment fails, your account will be downgraded to the free tier.

5. Free Tier & Trial

New accounts receive a 14-day trial of the Starter plan. After the trial, unused paid features are disabled unless you subscribe. Free tier limits apply as described on our pricing page.

6. Data & Privacy

We process personal data as described in our Privacy Policy. Check results and response-time data are retained for up to 1 year depending on your plan.

7. Uptime & SLA

We target 99.9% monthly uptime for the monitoring infrastructure on paid plans. We do not guarantee this for free accounts. In the event of extended outages we will post updates on our own status page.

8. Intellectual Property

The Service and all associated software, content, and trademarks are owned by LSN Lab or its licensors. Nothing in these Terms transfers ownership of any intellectual property to you.

9. Termination

You may cancel your account at any time from the billing settings. We may suspend or terminate your account for material breach of these Terms, with or without prior notice. Upon termination, your data will be deleted within 30 days.

10. Disclaimers

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR THAT MONITORING CHECKS WILL DETECT ALL OUTAGES.

11. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, LSN LAB'S TOTAL LIABILITY ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO THE SERVICE SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE 12 MONTHS PRIOR TO THE CLAIM. IN NO EVENT SHALL WE BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction where LSN Lab is incorporated. Disputes shall be resolved exclusively in the competent courts of that jurisdiction.

13. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you by email and by posting a notice on the Service at least 14 days before material changes take effect. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
